Last, they wanted us to take our time with our career.
My parents wanted me to complete my education. They didn’t want me to half do my education unless it happened by accident. They knew their children couldn’t be perfect with every choice they made. Also, they wanted me to surround myself with people who support education as much as I do. My parents would have us read books to keep us focused and stimulate our thinking. I learned to appreciate my parents more because I know they didn’t have to support my education.

My parents wanted us to give our education our undivided attention. Growing up with my parents I knew that education was extremely important and if we didn’t do our assignment we would get punished. Education would bring rewards and our parents would reward us if we did our assignment and make good grades from it. My parents respect our education and at times my mother would give us those same assignments to complete during the summer time so we would be updated and alert to our education. My parents were extremely serious about us completing our education and showing them our assignment when it was completed. I learned that we have to really love what we do because it helps us to stay focused and not waste our education.
I grew up and learned to appreciate being around my parents. When I was a child my parents would sit and talk to us about subjects we needed to know at our age. My parents would have movies for us to watch and also allowed our best friends to come over. My parents wanted us to be hospitable and also live a clean lifestyle. We learned to clean up after every meal and not to waste food. My parents were the best teachers in my life. It was in my parents' love and understanding that keeps me and my brothers and sisters going.
