Being responsible pays big dividends – we have much less stress and chaos in our lives and we gain the respect of others. Being responsible means being dependable, keeping promises and honoring our commitments. It is accepting the consequences for what we say and do. It also means developing our potential. People who are responsible don't make excuses for their actions or blame others when things go wrong .Genuine things are true or authentic. When you're talking about people, being genuine has to do with being sincere. This word has to do with things and people that are true. A genuine friend is a real friend you can trust when the chips are down. You are the expert of your own being. You are in charge of your thoughts and you are your own personality. Independence and self-awareness is also linked to confidence. By knowing who you are and what you stand for in life can help to give you a strong sense of self-confidence. It's really important to take some time to get to know yourself. When you're planning for your future, it helps if you know more about your own thoughts, values, ideas, and personality. Self-awareness seems like a good thing—after all, it allows you to know yourself, understand your motivations, and ultimately make better decisions. Being an open-minded individual helps you to grow as a person and learn so much more about the world around you. It makes life less restrictive, more enjoyable, and more of an adventure! Being open-minded also makes the world a better place as less judgment, hatred, and ignorance are thrown around. Your self concept defines how you communicate.
